Furnishings
This is where we bring your home to life and fill it with all of character that makes it unique to you. It isn't unusual for an otherwise "standard" home to become "so much more" with just the right layering of interesting furniture pieces, rugs, window treatments and decor. We focus on trade only sources to bring you furnishings you can't find in just any retail store.

Design in a Day
The perfect opportunity for clients that don't require full service design but need a little help getting in the right direction! In a three hour block of time we will bring out whatever tools needed to answer all of your design related questions. You walk away with tailored notes from our visit. Our most common requests are for dimensioned floor plans, paint consultations and dos and donts tips tailored to your home.
The Process
PHASE I
Consultation
After a brief discovery call, a consultation is booked onsite or at our studio so we can get to know each other and to discuss the specifics of your project. This meeting allows clients to convey their needs and design aesthetic. As the designer we are there to walk you through this dialogue, organize a scope of work, lend insight into your budget and to shed light on our internal processes.
PHASE II
Pre-Design Meeting
Based on the initial consultation a scope of work and budget are further honed and we have a pre-design meeting to go over all of the details of your project so that I have a clear understanding of how to proceed with your design work. Precise measurements are taken at this stage or a thorough review of architectural drawings depending on the project. This is also a time when I will be reaching out to your team ie architect or builder to ensure all parties are on the same page before moving forward. As a build based designer I am more than happy to help you build this team if you do not have one in place.
PHASE III
Technical Drawings
& Mood Board
Architectural Drawings, Dimensioned Floor Plans, 3d Renderings and Mood Boards are all technical tools used in the design process. The digital mood board generally starts with inspiration photos and fleshes out as the design unfolds. The early stages of the design aesthetic must be agreed upon before the design work gets too in depth. Many clients like everything, nothing or just can't commit to a specific vision. We are here to help you hone the aesthetic!
PHASE III
Design Presentation
Those fabrics you've been waiting to physically touch, the tile you've wanted to see in person because pictures just don't do it justice....this all happens during the final design presentation. In addition to your mood board, many clients also choose to have 3d renderings of their space created to help with visualizing the final design.
PHASE III
Installation
or Construction
When moving into the final phases of your project you will either be in construction or awaiting your furnishings install day. If you are in construction we are making site visits and are in close communication with your contractors to ensure your designs are carried out. The final furnishings phase is when we are placing & tracking your orders while planning your install day.
